Detailed Job description
Machine Setup and Calibration:
Prepare and set up CNC machines according to job specifications.
Calibrate machines to ensure accurate production and adherence to quality standards.
Programming and Operation:
Load programs into CNC machines based on engineering drawings or computer-aided design (CAD) models.
Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or deviations from specifications.
Adjust machine settings and parameters to ensure product accuracy.
Material Preparation:
Select and load raw materials into the machine, ensuring proper alignment and secure clamping.
Monitor material supply levels and replace or reload materials as needed.
Quality Control:
Inspect finished products for quality and precision, using measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
Make necessary adjustments to maintain product conformity and quality standards.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines, including cleaning and lubrication.
Troubleshoot and address machine malfunctions or errors promptly.
Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Follow company procedures and industry regulations for CNC machine operation.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of production activities, machine settings, and quality control measurements.
Provide input for process improvement and optimization.
Collaboration:
Work closely with engineers, programmers, and other team members to achieve production goals.
Communicate effectively to report issues, discuss improvements, and ensure smooth workflow.
