| Detailed Job description | We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced VMC Operator & Setter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining Vertical Machining Centers to produce precision components according to specifications. Responsibilities: Set up and operate Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs) to perform various machining operations. Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to determine machining requirements. Select and install cutting tools, tool holders, and work holding fixtures according to job requirements. Program and adjust machine settings (speed, feed, depth of cut) to ensure proper machining parameters. Monitor machine performance, make adjustments as necessary, and perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure optimal machine operation. Inspect machined components using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications. Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to maintain production efficiency and quality standards. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area. Requirements: Diploma , Engineering, ITI Candidates are Preferred. Must have good knowledge in TOOL ROOM. 3+ Years experience as a VMC Operator & Setter in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints. Strong knowledge of machining principles, tooling, and cutting parameters. Experience with programming and operating CNC machines is preferred. Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks on machines. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machining issues. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Job Type: Full-time Salary: ₹180,000.00 – ₹360,000.00 per year Benefits: Provident Fund Supplemental pay types: Overtime pay Experience: VMC: 3 years (Preferred) Work Location: In person |
