Detailed Job descriptionProgramming
Create and modify CNC programs for Vertical Machining Centers using CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Solid cam) & manual G-code programming.
1) Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, and technical specifications.
2) Set up and operate VMC machines to perform milling, drilling, tapping, and other machining operations.
3) Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and cutting parameters for efficient machining.
4) Conduct first-piece inspection and ensure all machined parts meet quality and dimensional standards.
5) Troubleshoot programming or machining issues and implement corrective actions.
6) Optimize machining processes to reduce cycle time and increase tool life.
7) Maintain detailed records of programs, setups, and maintenance logs.
8) Collaborate with design, production, and quality teams to improve manufacturability and efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
1) Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering
2) 5–7 years of experience in CNC/VMC programming and machining.
3) Proficient in G-code, M-code, and CAM software (Mastercam, Solid Cam )
4) Strong understanding of 3-axis and 4-axis VMC operations.
5) Advanced knowledge of machining various materials (steel, aluminium, SS, etc.).
6) Ability to interpret technical drawings and GD&T.
7) Familiar with CNC machine controllers like Fanuc, Siemens, or Mitsubishi.
8) Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Pay: ₹500,000.00 – ₹1,282,149.88 per year
