| Detailed Job description | Position: Operator Department: Production (Machine Shop – CNC & VMC) Reporting To: Supervisor Location: Thirumudivakkam, Chennai – 44 Job Overview Responsible for operating CNC and VMC machines to produce components as per drawings and quality standards. Key Responsibilities 1- Operate CNC/VMC machines as per instructions. 2- Load and unload raw materials and finished components. 3- Perform machine cleaning and basic housekeeping. 4- Ensure correct setting parameters are used (under guidance). 5- Follow SOP, work instruction, safety and quality procedures. 6- Maintain machine cleanliness and support 5S activities 7- Report abnormalities to the Supervisor. Required Skills & Competencies Basic CNC/VMC operation knowledge Ability to read basic measurements Discipline and focus on productivity Education & Experience ITI / Diploma / Engineering background 0–3 years of experience in CNC/VMC machine operation |
